Google Home is an app that allows you to control multiple smart devices quickly, whether you're in your own house or somewhere else. The app displays all your devices and organizes them by rooms.
Hit the menu tab and tap the Explore button to find all sorts of shortcuts. Domino's can deliver pizza, Food Network can give you recipes and you can check nutritional values of food. The shortcuts change automatically based on your smart devices. At the bottom of the screen, you will find all devices organized into rooms.
Some people have problems with some commands. For example, Google Home can offer restaurants based on your location but get your address wrong.
Besides, you still need a provider's app to set up your smart devices. For example, you need the Philips Hue app to install Philips Hue bulbs. Then you just sync the bulb with your Google Home and control it from the app.
Unfortunately, Google has removed a helpful feature called Guest Mode. It allows you to cast media to other devices without sharing the same WiFi network. Now, you have to work with layers. You'll find all apps that can be integrated with Google Home, programming that works with Chromecast and tips for using the Google Assistant. It's challenging to find what you want there.
You can personalize your Google Assistant by connecting smart home devices. Unfortunately, you can't customize shortcuts. The buttons will adapt to your habits and since the app automatically organizes devices into rooms, you will have to go with the flow. We'd have preferred to have an option to customize the app ourselves.
Google Home comes with six ready-made routines that get things done with one command. Then there are Custom Routines which allow you to create your own commands (thousands of Actions are there for you).
Once you set a routine, you should come up with a phrase that feels best for you. For example, you can create a routine for a big event and kick it off by saying "Dinner's ready." The app also lets you schedule routines for a specific time through the Google Clock app.
To download the app, you will get links to the Official Website and/or official digital markets.
